SFOTE is pleased to present Cut/Break, curated by Everard Findlay and hosted by Stella Schnabel. This exhibition will feature works by photographers Martyn Thompson, Chris Gentile, and Joe Curren, as well as screenings of short films by directors Richard Kenvin, Britton Caillouette and Jakob Daschek. Photographic works will be available through silent auction at the opening reception on May 28.

Cut/Break is an examination of surfing as a transformative cross-cultural platform, also representing the collaborative efforts of the surfing community as it comes together in support of SFOTE's initiatives. Each of the artists has donated work for the exhibition. All proceeds from pieces auctioned will benefit SFOTE's current venture, the Laventille Bus Project, which will provide free, sustainable school transportation to children in an impoverished area of Trinidad.

EXHIBITION SUPPORT AND THANKS: Grandlife, the Cut/Break Artists, Stella Schnabel, Rosemonde Montano, Neville Wakefield, and Brana Wolf.
